Disability Family Ministry now called TEAM Belong
TEAM Belong: St. John the Baptist invites families with children (of all ages, birth to adult) with disabilities to gather monthly for worship and fellowship that is accessible for the whole family. Volunteers to work with children and youth with disabilities are welcome! If you have questions or wish to volunteer, please email Abby Vlahos at abbyvlahos@gmail.com.
St. John the Baptist is honored to be among the first cohort of Pilot Parishes in the On Behalf of All program. We look forward to working together with the GOA Fully Human ministry and other Orthodox Christian parishes around the country toward making worship accesible for children with disabilities. This is another step in our efforts to ensure that those with disabilities and their families fully belong in our parish.
